We were left with a couple backpacks from the Kids Hope USA backpack drive.

Currently we have access to 5 packs (2 girls, 1 boy and 2 neutral). We have availability for

these backpacks until Sept 14th. After that they will be distributed in the school to needed

The first 100 families who have a need will be given 50 lbs of food. And if we don't get enough families, they could go through a second time. We need help - praying for this, handing out the food, and getting people to pick up the food. If you are in between work, or under employed, or have just hit a rough spot these last few months or weeks stop by. We do not ask for proof or anything, we just want to share a bit of the gift we have received with you.

Allendale Community Church has plenty of space for this and some plots available. You might have to go door to door or sign people up at gleaners but a great and low impact outreach. If too late this year plan for it next year!

They are looking for someone with inside sales and sales support experience but are willing to train the right person.  Hexarmor is a West Michigan company which sells protective equipment for manufacturing, hospital, and foodservice applications.  

Here are the details:

JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB t**LE:       INSIDE SALES & SALES SUPPORT

REPORTS TO:  SALES MANAGER

JOB CLASS:     SALARY + COMMISSION

FUNCTION:       Establish new customers by introducing HexArmor and its products to a developing market while servicing existing customers.  This is achieved primarily by supporting Region Sales Manager in organizing their sales activities. The position will specialize in the safety products manufacturing industry.  A successful candidate will be expected to develop an expertise of features, benefits and use of products. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Contact prospective customers to establish new accounts.   Follow up on all leads.  Continue and persist until contact is made.  Send samples/literature to interested prospects as appropriate.

1. Contact all sample recipients within the first 18 days of sample shipment.  Assess their satisfaction with the product and service.  Refer to sales manager or distributor.

1. Responsible for qualifying and targeting a particular market segment.

1. Introduce and sell additional products to existing customers.

1. Keep customer information current on the data base.

1. Responsible for accurate report generation and monthly sales analysis of buying trends or patterns that require attention.

1. Occasional participation in trade shows

1. Maintain relationships with current customers answer product questions and take new orders.

1. Prioritize selling efforts to effectively grow a more developed, higher volume territory.

1. Any other duties assigned by their supervisor.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

•Bachelors degree and or 3-4 years work experience.     

•Ability to communicate clearly and pleasantly by phone to prospects and customers.

•Basic Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel

•Ability to organize & schedule one's work and the self-motivation to diligently perform it with little    supervision is a MUST.

•Ability to perform in fast passed environment and be part of a high performance team

•Experience with QuickBooks and a contact management data base is preferred.

Pay is 30K plus,
